Regain Your Confidence
The All-on-4® treatment concept, sometimes referred to as full-arch restoration, is a life-changing solution for patients with multiple missing or failing teeth. It involves the placement of a custom-made, natural-looking prosthesis on as few as four dental implant posts. This allows you to enjoy all the benefits of dental implants for your entire smile, providing you with a functional and beautiful set of teeth.
Dr. Holtzen, our board-certified oral surgeon, is an expert in dental implant-based treatments, including the All-on-4 treatment concept. With his extensive experience and expertise, he can create a personalized treatment plan that suits your unique needs and goals. During your consultation, Dr. Holtzen will carefully assess your oral health, review your medical history, perform an oral examination, and discuss your treatment options with you. Benefits of All-on-4
Improved Function
All-on-4 allows you to eat your favorite foods again, restoring your ability to enjoy a varied and nutritious diet without any restrictions.
Prevents Jaw Bone Loss
By placing dental implants in the jaw bone, All-on-4 helps prevent bone loss, preserving your facial structure and preventing a sunken appearance.
Preserve Facial Balance
Restoring a full arch of teeth helps maintain the natural contours of your face, preventing changes in facial shape and providing a more youthful and balanced appearance.
Easy Maintenance
The custom-made prosthesis is easy to clean and maintain, just like natural teeth. Regular brushing, flossing, and dental check-ups are all that is needed to keep your All-on-4 in optimal condition.
All-on-4 Surgery
In general, a typical All-on-4 involves the following steps:
- Consultation: You will meet with Dr. Holtzen, who will perform a comprehensive exam, discuss your goals for treatment, and determine if dental implant-based treatment like All-on-4 is the ideal solution for you.
- Preparation: Your surgery will take place in one of our state-of-the-art surgical suites, and anesthesia will be administered.
- Implant Placement: Dental implant posts are strategically placed in the jaw bone, typically requiring as few as four posts.
- Temporary Arch Placement: A temporary set of teeth is attached to restore your smile immediately and promote healing.
- Healing and Osseointegration: The implant posts integrate with the jaw bone over several months, creating a strong foundation.
- Final Prosthesis Placement: Once the integration is complete, your general dentist will attach your custom-made final prosthesis, providing a permanent set of teeth.
Throughout the surgery, your comfort and safety are prioritized, and various anesthesia options are available. Post-operative instructions will be provided for proper healing and long-term success.

State-of-the-Art Technology To Drive Care
Alpine Oral Surgery is proud to offer our patients the most cutting-edge and advanced dental technology to deliver optimal results. We strive to provide solutions tailored to your needs that exceed every expectation. To do this, we're proud of our ability to create wax-ups that give you the most accurate idea of what your All-on-4 prosthesis will look like before it's affixed to the four dental implants surgically inserted into your jaw bone.
First, we take 2D pictures and high-quality 3D scans of the mouth to create a digital smile. Then, we superimpose this onto a smile template, allowing us to virtually reshape the teeth to match the given template. Once this is completed, we use our 3D printer to generate a mockup of the final product, allowing you to see exactly what you're getting and giving us the opportunity to modify it accordingly so the end result meets all of your needs.
